Terms of service
In effect from 29 July 2026
These are the terms for using Vinicios Cunha, operating as NextNode. Using the service means you accept them. We have tried to write them so you can actually read them.
What NextNode does
You describe your background, or upload a resume, and we generate an interactive map of career paths: roles you could move into, routes between them, and estimated salary, timeline, certifications and skill gaps for each.
The map is produced by an AI language model. It is a starting point for your own thinking and research. It is not produced by a careers adviser, and nobody reviews it before you see it.
The most important thing on this page
Salary figures, timelines and certification names on your map are estimates generated by a language model, not verified market data. They can be wrong, out of date, or refer to credentials that do not exist. Check anything you intend to act on before you act on it.
NextNode does not provide careers advice, financial advice, legal advice, immigration advice or educational accreditation guidance. Nothing on a map is a recommendation, a prediction, or a promise about your earnings, your prospects or your ability to get any particular job.
Decisions about your career are yours. Please do not resign, enrol in a course, pay for a certification or turn down an offer on the strength of a generated map alone.
Your account
- You need an account to generate a map, and you must give a real email address you control.
- One person, one account. Creating multiple accounts to collect the free credit more than once is not allowed.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account, so keep your password to yourself.
- You must be at least 16 years old.
Credits
One credit draws one map. Everything you do with a map you already have — opening roles, changing your target, watching the route redraw — is free, because none of it involves the model.
- New accounts get one free credit. It is a sample, not an entitlement, and we may change or withdraw it for future signups.
- Credits are sold in packs, starting at $5 for 10 maps. They do not expire.
- Credits are not money, have no cash value, cannot be transferred between accounts, and cannot be exchanged for cash.
- A credit is charged when generation starts. If generation fails, the credit is refunded automatically.
- We may adjust or remove credits obtained through abuse, fraud, or a payment that is charged back.
Beyond the automatic refund for a failed generation, credits are non-refundable once purchased, except where the law where you live says otherwise — and where it does, it wins over this paragraph.
What you may not do
- Create accounts in bulk, or use automation to collect free credits.
- Scrape, resell, or redistribute generated maps as if they were verified market data.
- Submit someone else’s personal information without their knowledge.
- Attempt to break, overload, or find your way around the limits of the service.
- Use NextNode to do anything illegal, or to discriminate against anyone.
We may suspend or close an account that does these things. Where it is proportionate to do so we will tell you why first.
Your content, and the map
What you write about yourself stays yours. You give us permission to process it for the single purpose of generating and storing your map, and for nothing else. How that works in practice is set out in the privacy policy.
The map generated for you is yours to use however you like, including commercially. We claim no ownership of it. The software, design and brand behind NextNode remain ours.
If you upload a resume, you confirm it is yours to upload, or that you have permission from the person it describes.
Availability
NextNode is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be available without interruption, that generation will always succeed, or that any particular map will be produced. We may change features, prices or these terms; if a change materially affects you, we will give notice and update the date at the top of this page.
You can stop using the service at any time and delete your account. Doing so permanently removes your NextNode profile, saved maps and app credit history, and forfeits any unused credits, since they are not money. Stripe may retain its independent payment, transaction, tax and dispute records as merchant of record for as long as its legal and operational obligations require.
Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Vinicios Cunha, operating as NextNode is not liable for lost earnings, lost opportunities, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of NextNode — including any decision you make on the basis of a generated map.
Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected by anything on this page.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, United States, and its courts have jurisdiction over any dispute — without depriving you of the protection of any mandatory consumer law where you live.
